These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], [COUNTRY] ("OutplayMe", "we") for your use of the OutplayMe app and this website. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Who can use OutplayMe
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need your parent's or guardian's permission. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in details safe.
Challenges and your safety
Challenges are physical and skill-based. You take part at your own risk. Only attempt what you are fit and able to do, in a safe place, without endangering yourself or anyone else. Stop if something hurts. Never attempt a challenge that is illegal or dangerous where you are. OutplayMe does not supervise attempts and is not responsible for injuries or damage that result from them.
Community rules
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not post or do any of the following:
- Nudity, sexual content, or anything sexualising minors.
- Violence, threats, harassment, bullying or hate speech.
- Content that encourages self-harm or dangerous acts.
- Fake, edited or staged runs presented as genuine, or any attempt to manipulate votes, views or leaderboards.
- Other people's content, or footage of people who have not agreed to be filmed.
- Spam, scams, or impersonation of another person or brand.
- Anything illegal.
Reporting and moderation
Every run, comment and profile can be reported in the app, and you can block any user so that you no longer see each other's content. We review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours by removing it and, where warranted, suspending or removing the account that posted it. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms at any time, with or without notice.
Your content
You keep ownership of the videos and other content you post. By posting, you give OutplayMe a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical purposes, display and distribute that content in the app and in promotion of OutplayMe, for as long as the content is on the service. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already shared by others or kept in backups for a limited time.
You confirm that you have the right to post what you post and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
Verification, leaderboards and rewards
Runs are verified by community votes and our moderators. Our decision on whether a run counts, and on leaderboard positions, is final. Any rewards or prizes connected to a challenge are subject to the specific rules published for that challenge.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile → Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or put the community at risk.
The service
The app is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and reliable but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features. To the extent the law allows, OutplayMe is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
Apple
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store: these terms are between you and OutplayMe, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; if a change is significant we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW COUNTRY], without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
